NongHyup Finance Myanmar Donates Stationery Supplies to Thaketa Primary School

Mr. Kim Jong Keun, Managing Director of NongHyup Finance Myanmar, a subsidiary of NongHyup Bank of the Republic of Korea operating in Myanmar, visited No. (46) Primary School in Thaketa Township, Yangon Region, on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. He carried out a corporate social responsibility activity by donating notebooks and stationery supplies to a total of 1,150 students from the entire school.
The donation ceremony was organized in collaboration with the NGO Korea Food for the Hungry International (KFHI). The event aimed to encourage and support children who will lead the future of Myanmar and provide practical assistance to students who continue their education with determination despite facing various challenges.
Mr. Kim Jong Keun, Managing Director of NongHyup Finance Myanmar, expressed his hope that the donation would contribute to helping Myanmar children grow up happily and healthily. He also stated his hope that these children would grow into outstanding individuals and continue spreading positive influence by helping others in the future.
